My Transformation from Vulnerability to Vitality

I couldn’t deny it: becoming a mom changed everything. As a physical therapist who teaches postpartum rehab and pelvic health, people assumed I’d sail through motherhood. They pictured a fit, always-active clinician. The reality was messier.

In my postpartum journeys, I lived with constant exhaustion, disrupted sleep, and persistent low-back pain. My core felt fragile; I noticed leaks when I laughed, sneezed, or jumped, and even simple tasks, such as picking up objects from the floor or carrying groceries, left me guarded and worried. Juggling patient care at the clinic with night feeds and the emotional labour of parenting left me depleted. I poured myself into caring for others and didn’t see that I was running on empty.

On a busy clinic day, my heart was racing, and my body was audibly screaming for rest. That moment shook me: how could I expect my patients to prioritize pelvic health if I hadn’t modelled it myself? That humbling wake-up forced change.

I returned to the fundamentals I teach: rebuilding breath and core connection, tending to my belly, practicing mindfulness, and addressing movement patterns that contribute to healing and restoration.  I created tiny, consistent habits that actually fit into a busy life. I also learned to let go of guilt when I prioritized myself.

Healing wasn’t instant, but it was real. My back pain eased, my core felt more solid, and the embarrassment and fear around leaking faded as I gained practical tools and confidence. More than fitness, I found alignment between what I preach and how I live.

The result was transformative. My back pain began to ease, my leaks reduced, and my core felt stronger and more reliable. More than that, my mind felt clearer, my energy returned, and I reconnected with a version of myself I thought I had lost.

Postpartum is messy. It is one of the most vulnerable times in a woman’s life. Applying what I knew to my own healing was challenging, but also the most beautiful and rewarding experience.

My story, my pain, my struggle, and my healing have now become my service to YOU, my fellow sisters and friends. That is why I call this a miracle. Because it is possible, bit by bit, little by little, if we listen to what our body truly needs, we can transform our pain into resilience.

I transformed my life, and now my passion is to see you transform yours.

My “mechanic” character and “steel” energy make me a deep thinker, analyzer, and planner. I will show you how to take your pain and turn it into strength—how to use your challenges as the very thing that builds your resilience.

I am ready to return this energy to YOU and the divine universe. And I would be honoured to walk beside you on your journey to health and wellness.
